I HEAR YOU!!

So a big deal happened today!! Kyra and I came home from church early cause I wasn't feeling good so I thought I'd try to listen in to the baby (I've been trying a few times this week) and WE HEARD HER!! I recorded it and were very excited :) I posted the video below for the baby's heart beat :) I know its funny that I'm doing such a detailed blog but i just cant wait till the baby is grown and gets to see my thoughts and excitement every day !!

Ohhh YEAH .. and I forgot to mention. Yesterday We were garage saleing with my mom and we pulled up to this one house and the rocking chair I had talked about before, the one  in the dream I had 10 years ago, was there!! I knew it was it.. Some lady was looking at it and I Walked up and was like "I'm sorry this is SOLD" I didn't even care how much it cost me !! (it was only $30) I just knew that it was THE rocking chair!! 

Stretch **crack** ***sigh*** Ahhhhhhh

So I went the chiropractor this morning. WOW it felt really good, She did quite a few cool adjustments that were really cool. My coccyx feels MUCH better and my neck feels amazing!!
Then we went to lunch with mom (shocking really.. hahah were always having lunch together) Then we ran to DI,  I'm always canvasing the thrift store for Plus sized maternity clothes, its SO hard to find XXL maternity clothes so I'm constantly on the look out. Well as i was walking in I saw the clerk putting a HUGE rack full of maternity clothes in guess what size? XXL !! WOOO HOOO I was so excited!! I ended up getting 10 pairs of pants, some jeans and some work pants which makes me VERY happy cause I'm probably going to need to start wearing them in a few months or less :) So it was real good find !! I also bought some clearance maternity clothes from motherhood today :)

I have been researching Baby Wraps all day today I really like these mobi wraps I think I just may go buy material to have for this wrap. The cool part is you just buy 6 yards of fabric and watch youtube videos to see how to do the wraps and call it a day . I actually found an entire website dedicated to learning all the ties and wraps for the baby. theres even a way cool tie for a nursing baby :) Its way neat I cant WAIT!

Well tomorrow is a long day of garage sailing with mom in the morning so I gotta go to bed :) I'm sure Ill come home with loads of baby junk hahaha

8 week prego shot

 

OK so I didn't think I was growing THIS much but I really am!

I have 3 pictures here. The top one is today (8 weeks) Middle one is at (4 weeks) and bottom one is in Feb when I was doing HCG loosing my weight just in time for me to get fat LOL I cant believe Ive only gained 3 pounds since being pregnant! I look so much fatter!! maybe my fat is moving to feed the baby. Hey I'm creating my OWN HCG now LOL

 Notice the belly poking out past the chest. thats where you REALLY see the difference. Note my boobs are growing quite a bit too haha

ANOTHER Ultrasound!

So I called my doctor today he said to come in ad he'll check the little bean to make sure she's ok. I came in did another ultrasound and WOW in 5 days this baby is HUGE!!  (and just fine, with a good strong heart beat) Last week the baby was this little Ski jumper in a big black amniotic sac.. NOW she's almost the SAME SIZE.. that is some SERIOUS growth! you can see the Uterus is really growing too I can tell my abdomen is starting to stick out more, and its not just cause I'm FAT LOL
I need to take another picture to mark the growth in my belly Ill do that tomorrow! I'm just glad the baby is doing so well!!

My HEAD HURTS!

Wow so today was eventful again.
Today was my first week having Mondays off due to my internship hours being finished I am now just maintaining my clients at work on Wednesdays so I was off today with nothing to do! SO I decided to go get mulch for my yard from the dump. On the way to the dump I suddenly got a stabbing feeling in my head that HURT like a bugger! I had never felt pain like that before! My mom was with me so she said i would be fine but If I felt it again to let her know. On our way to the dump for our second truckload it happened AGAIN. It lasted about 45 seconds to a minute then a lingering headache afterward. I started getting very concerned. On the third round to the dump (I had to go alone with Kyra cause My moms patient had a problem at home and she had to tend to that. It started happening every  10-15 mins!! after the 10th round of this sharp pain I thought it might be wise to go to the hospital. SO Kyra and I went to the ER. the doctors and nurses  checked me out. After a few tests the Doctor said they were something called "cluster headaches" I had never heard of them before but WOW they are painful! He said the best way to treat it would be to flood me with oxygen for 2 hours and they should be gone for a while.  He did just that and sure enough no more...He also told me to take some Tylenol and drink a caffeinated soda if it happens again. I'm skeptical about ANYTHING I'm taking pregnant so I think im gonna wait till my Dr says its ok !!  He also said i needed to check with my OB to make sure the baby was OK  which is good for me I want to make sure the soda and such is REALLY ok  I will call my Dr. in the morning to see what he wants me to do , meanwhile I'm TIRED!! GOOD NIGHT!!

Bleck .. I'm sick!! **warning this blog discusses throw up!!**

ICKY ICKY !!  thought I wasn't gonna have any morning sickness.. I was SO WRONG!! I woke up at 5 and ICKY TIMES!! the worst part about throwing up is when it is SO violent and out of control that it comes out your NOSE!! GROSS!! I hate that!!
I haven't thrown up for a few hours so I hope I will be fine to drive home to Cedar city.
On the upside that silly Pillow worked and I slept better than before. Downside I'm Puking!!

Big weekend of traveling!

Well this is a nice big weekend for me! I graduated from Graduate school with my masters in Marriage and Family therapy up in Salt Lake. Aside from telling my classmates about the baby and doing that funny thing called graduation I also spent some time shopping for baby stuff! Fun times!
We went to the mall to Motherhood Maternity store. I know its early to buy maternity clothes at this point but with my figuring I will need maternity clothes the most in the fall and winter and they are CLEARANCING those clothes now so I'll get good deals on them for when I need them.. Well so I thought...  So I went to the store and got quite a bit, I got a belly belt to help support my back when my belly starts getting bigger, and some clothes not alot cause their winter stuff was mostly picked through and what was left was MEh... OK ... SO I just got a few shirts that screamed MY PERSONALITY.
I really needed to get some comfortable maternity/ nursing bras and they only carry them there :( my boobs are really starting to hurt and be sensitive. I Also needed to get some Medela products for my pump but they didn't carry them there (what a motherhood store WITH OUT them ?? I didn't know that was possible hahaha) I also have flat inverted nipples (like you wanted to know that) and I was looking for something more than nipple shields to help that, they didn't... OH well I got some of the stuff I needed at least! Oh yeah and I got a GIANT boppy pillow for pregnant woman and then when the baby is here you can use to nurse. Its not like a regular boppy its "supposed" to help with sleeping and since I'm sleeping on an HOURLY basis I thought I'll give it a whirl tonight!! Speaking of which this sleep pattern is KILLING me!! I sleep for a couple hours wake up at midnight , then 1 then 2 then if I'm lucky jump to 4 on and on and on .. HELP ..I cant stop the sleep deprivation!! HELP ? suggestions ?? well heres hoping that pillow helps!!

The first "official" Dr's Appt

Well this morning Kyra and I were both getting ready and she asked me where I was going. I told her to my doctors appointment so she BEGGED me to take her with me. I said that was fine because she is so excited and really wants to be a part of the baby process :) 

We got there about 30 minutes early so we went down to the cafeteria and had breakfast (as previously noted the food there is AWESOME) Kyra was again excited to eat her yummy Pancakes with Peanut butter and Jelly (its really good that way!!) We finished up our breakfast and then Checked in. They took me back, weighed me .. I had only gained like 3 pounds (probably due to me EATING LOL) When I got to the room I had a BIG BAG of crap LOL  :P some samples of stuff, some good baby books, some Formula (booo.. I only breastfeed, its ok to call me a  Le Leche League snob LOL) Kyra IMMEDIATELY started reading the materials LOL she's so cute that way! He came in did his exam them said that the ultrasound guy said he say some 


blood near the placenta so He would check on it with his ultrasound. So I got to go to the ultrasound room and see the baby again Kyra was VERY excited to see the baby!! Dr. Said the baby looked good and healthy and AGAIN changed the Due date to January 5th. So I assume this is the FINAL prediction :) 

We left the appointment happy and content :) 

YEAH !!! GO baby go !! 

BTW does anyone else think the baby looks like its SKI JUMPING off my uterus?!?!?!

Book just got here

One of the books I've ordered got here this morning. "Pregnancy Week by Week"  I loved this book when I was prego with Kyra. I feel like I'm skipping a bunch of stuff though .. (I don't need to read 8 pages on STD's...just an FYI..  I DON'T HAVE STD's lol )

I've enjoyed looking at the baby's ultrasound knowing she is in there and she's growing so much

I've been thinking about changing baby's name?? I think I might really like Donna Eden instead of Donna Elizabeth but I don't know .. no one really likes the Donna name... I do though .. choices choices... I don't want the baby's name to be something that everyone else has, and I don't want to make it too difficult for people to read, say and spell .. lord knows I learned that lesson with Kyra ...

I just looked at the office (soon to be baby's room) what the HECK am I gonna do with the stuff in there??
I have to go through all my books and through all my "stuff": Granted I have alot of stuff for work; like books and  educational tools I will eventually put in a "real office" but its here till that happens!
 I just have SO MUCH craft CRAP too!!  I finally had a room for all my "CRAP" now I need to figure out where to MOVE my CRAP... I have  a feeling I'm having a yard sale in a few weeks to get rid of a bunch of stuff I never use! I have alot of kitchen gadgets I don't ever use that I should get rid of to make room for stuff for me to use storage for stuff from the office. I'm sad I'm getting rid of my office desk cause its such a nice big office desk but there's nowhere i can keep it!! Maybe at my moms till I can move in a few years?? LOL :P
Regardless its all worth getting rid of for my little baby!! She is totally worth it ...

Speaking of HER... I've been getting alot of comments about the fact I'm referring to the baby as a "her" there is just one reason for this...
The night I conceived Kyra (before I even KNEW I was pregnant) I had a vision like dream ( you people know the kind of dream I'm talking about) where a girl around 9-10 ish with LONG brown hair with bangs in a purple frilly dress was holding a baby in a pink baby blanket. They were sitting in a rocking chair with a Heart cut out of the back of the chair. I strongly believe this was gods way of showing me my children.  Kyra holding this new baby.
OK so there is My reason take it or leave it .. I know Im having a girl :P no one will convince me otherwise :P

Ultrasound

So here are the pictures of the little baby :) I know its not much but it shows the baby's head and body. there was actually a better closer shot of the baby I don't know why the technician didn't print that one instead but oh well

I went with Charlies mom to get the ultrasound since I was in St George I thought she might enjoy coming to see the baby as well.

The lady that was this technician was MUCH nicer and told me everything she was doing the whole time it was so nice compared to the other woman! She was checking my ovaries and uterus and kidneys i was like wheres the BABY? she said that she saved the best for last, but she then went right to looking at the baby, she did a close up and you could see the baby quite well (I wish she would have printed that shot)

Once you see the baby and hear the heart it makes it so much more REAL, not that it wasn't real before but it just makes it so much more... alive... than before.. So hard to explain. I am more excited than anything now!!

There goes the perfect record

Dang it there goes the perfect no throw up record!  Yesterday I went to my moms house weak as could be and I threw up.  After it was said and done I felt better so my mom thought it was just bad food (I had a Wendy's taco salad YUMMY)  thinking that was all i came home, went to bed, and woke up at 2 am only to throw up in the sink and PASSED OUT.. I woke up on the floor with puke all over. I hit my knee on the sink (it still  HURTS :( my body then went in shock shaking and I felt like i was going to pass out again. Fortunately I had my work phone nearby, I usually leave it in the other room to charge but there was an emergency with a client last night so I was keeping the phone nearby in case they needed me again. So I grabbed the phone and called  911. The paramedics came, and took me to the hospital. I feared that I would pass out and hurt myself even more, my head really hurt and my knee really hurt but the nausea and weakness I felt was just terrible i felt I needed to be checked by a doctor.

Kyra was very sweet and tried to be so helpful the whole time!She covered me with her snuggie to make sure I was warm (I kept getting chills) she made sure she had packed snacks and the Ipods for the hospital. She's going to be such a GOOD big sister!!!

Well readers digest version of what happened is that I have a pretty gnarly UTI and there is a nasty flu going around so either A: the UTI is so bad that it put my body into shock or B: I've got that nasty bug going around. I was given IV antibiotics last knight and came home and died in bed!

I have the ultrasound this afternoon to look forward to! yeah :)

pump pump pump it up

I got the breast pump I ordered the other day (yeah) its nice and has lots of accessories with it. I also visited with the nutritionist today at work she gave me a nice little chart of what should be eating what I should avoid and such it was nice.

Charlie and I are doing good he had to go back to Vernal though :( but I enjoyed having him near me. I can't wait till he gets a job back down here and comes home !! oh well all in due time .
Baby is settling in she turned 6 weeks yesterday and I have some pretty cool apps on my hero that track the baby real well this one pregnancy widget is way cool it actually shows a picture of what the baby looks like its pretty cool :)
well I gotta go get ready for work now. I'll write later about today events

Mothers day 2010

Today was mothers day
I love being a mother, I love my mother so much and I cant wait to be a mother to this dear baby!
I'm so happy to be a mother!

As far as the pregnancy goes... Im tired still, napped this morning. then went to church and then my moms  now home tonight I think ill go to be early **yawn**

Got the heart monitor today!

The day started off sluggish again, I think this morning was the harshest morning sickness yet, but still not vomit! (thank goodness) After picking up my Bountiful Basket at 8AM  I layed all the couch all morning until i fell asleep around 11:30 till I woke up around 1-ish when Charlie came to visit.

Charlie is the baby's father. I am so very confused with our relationship. I wish nothing more than to marry him and have our child together as a family.. but the news of the baby scared him, but I think he is coming around. We talked and we think we will try to get back together again I truly hope we do! As I do love him very much.

So charlie Helped me take Kyras old bed out (it broke) and put in her new bed since I'm the pregnant lady that cant lift over 15 pounds!

I also received the Baby heart monitor today :) Baby Sound B Fetal Doppler Monitor w/ Ultrasound Gel 

I cant use it for 2 more weeks though :( some people say they can read the heart beat at 8 weeks some not until 12 :( I will certainly try to start listening at 8 weeks though :)

I cant wait until I can hear my baby's heart !! Patience is a virtue !!

Dr says: Baby IS JUST FINE!

OK so I went in again this morning to do the 2nd HCG level to finish off the test we started 2 days ago.
**random thought**  I really must point out I am falling in LOVE with the breakfast burritos at the hospital!! yum!! I got one again today while I was waiting for my blood paperwork. 

The doctor  said 2 days ago the HCG level was 2000 and it needed to double by this test they just called about an hour ago  level is at 5700!! woo hoo grow baby GROW!!! so nothing to worry about at ALL she is happy healthy growing child!! I will get another ultrasound next week (hopefully with a NICER technician!!)

Kyra had a cute mothers day program at school where she sang me the cutest mothers day songs!! it doesn't have anything to do with the baby but I had to mention it! She made the CUTEST drawing of me and her and the baby it was SO CUTE!!!

Real Scary day

 OK so today was a ROUGH day!!
It all started with my Dr's nurse call saying 'the doctor says we need to have you go get an ultra sound" she also told me my HCG level was around 2000 which could be quite high so they needed an ultrasound done as soon as possible" I called to schedule the ultrasound and they sad to come right in because they had an opening,  SO i rush off to  get the ultrasound. The ultrasound lady was very RUDE!! I asked her if I could record the ultrasound or anything she barked back "theres NOTHING to see and we ONLY do it at 20 weeks" She was so RUDE!! then she started the ultra sound and I asked if I could see she just ignored me and gave me a look as if to say "really lady your JUST pregnant" I was excited to see my baby... she was just a mean pest.. so aside from her rude behavior She insisted "you CAN NOT be 6 weeks I see nothing in your fetal sac" .. freaking me OUT!! I finally I asked if I could at least SEE the picture of what she saw, she seemed like it was a BOTHER to show me. but finally did,  I saw the cute little fetal sac . I couldn't wait to see my baby!! Then I had to go to the dentist.... my brain was still  freaking out over what the lady had said .. I couldn't get any dental work done because my insurance wasn't posting right so I left that apappointment then my Dr called and said thing is fine I'm just 5 weeks along not 6 weeks Which makes SO  MUCH more sense!! Because my ovulation was off by a week when I got pregnant. So according to my last menstruation I was 6 weeks 2 days and According to my conception date (which was April 12) the baby is due January 3rd 2011, putting me back to 5 weeks 3 days.


After all that I needed to relax so I  came home and planted A MILLION flowers and my falling hearts plant and Snowball bush (I love the flowers both of those produce!! I fill VERY accomplished from a stressful and worrisome day!! But best thing is baby is FINE!

I want to make sure Kyra is fully involved in the baby and she doesn't feel left out... Does anyone know of a book similar to "what to expect when your expecting" Sibling style ?? She would love that!! Help ? She wants to read all my technical expecting books thoughts??? I found one that seems to be the closest thing!

Blood work ...Im scared

Because of my cramping and dizzy spells I called my doctor yesterday and they want me to get an HCG level blood test so I went this morning and did it. I'm so scared something is wrong :( 
to keep my mind off of it I kept myself pretty busy.. I was VERY productive today!! Went to work .. did well with clients .. went on a half hour walk TWICE.. Took down my Winterizing plastic off my patio. put up my spring boxes, cleaned the patio .... WOO HOO GO PRODUCTIVE ME!!


I guess I find out tomorrow how the test went

Reading reading

I keep reading all I can about pregnancy! I cant get enough its getting to the point I'm reading the same stuff different day haha. Obsessive much  ?
I'm cramping on my left a little If it doesn't get better soon I'm gonna call my Doctor. Its not REALLY bad cramping but just annoying cramping
Still not nauseous it seems like it passed without throwing up!!

Everyone keeps telling me I'm having a boy .. I KNOW I'm having a girl!!! when I was pregnant with Kyra I had a dream where a Little girl in a rocking chair around 6-8 years old was holding a little baby in a pink blanket. I believe that was gods way of showing me my children! so I know I'm having a girl!!

I have ordered a Medala Pump today!!  Yeah I'm so excited for it to arrive! I also ordered a heart monitor so I can listlen to my little bean at 8 weeks!! YEAH!!!  I know its early to make such big purchases but what can I say Im very excited about the baby!!

Opps!!!

I was really bothered by all my weeds in my yard so I started spraying Weed killer on the weeds, about half way I realized it was probably NOT good for the baby!! so I stopped immediately and took a shower to get anything off of me Oopsy ... will not do again!!!


I have a serious HEADACHE!! Still no toilet God worship yet still nauseated. Weirdly enough my lower body feels really heavy and swollen I can almost feel my pelvis adjusting for the changes in the uterus!! WoOO HOOO

Vegas Trip

We went to Las Vegas today to see Shoshana Bean in concert at the Las Vegas Pride Festival! Kyra and I loved it! On the way we got a flat tire thank goodness my brother in law was with us to change it so we had a small hour pit stop in St. George for new tires. the girls and little Robbie picked flowers for Jenn, chrissy (2 of my sisters) and Shoshana.

We dropped off my brother in law and kids at my sisters house and headed to the festival, Kyra really enjoyed the festival! it was very fun, I couldn't be up and walking around very much cause I was Tired (shocking these days) so we sat and watched ALOT of drag queen shows! Kyra LOVED this one called Shiny Spears She was awesome!

Kyra got to meet Shoshana she was very excited!

I didn't feel NAUSEOUS all day!! Which suprised me!

thank GOODNESS Robbie was driving cause I was ASLEEP before we even hit the freeway home!! we got home at 2 am!!
